Los grandes triunfadores de la noche

Los Globos de Oro dieron este domingo a 'Avatar' el reconocimiento que ya estaba recibiendo de la taquilla mundial y sirvieron en bandeja a James Cameron los premios a la mejor película dramática y al mejor director, en una noche con galardones repartidos en la que, sin embargo, la actriz Penélope Cruz y el director Pedro Almodóvar salieron de vacío.
El universo de Pandora creado por Cameron logró el premio más importante de la noche al hacerse con el galardón como mejor película dramática y, sin sorpresas, postularse como firme candidata al Oscar.
Desde el escenario, el escritor, director y productor dijo disfrutar por tener "el mejor trabajo" y ser capaz de entretener "a una audiencia global".
El cineasta James Cameron había subido previamente al escenario para recoger el premio al mejor director por una producción que va camino de hacer historia en taquilla, como ya hiciese 'Titanic', por la que el director también recibió el galardón al mejor director.
Cameron, que dijo no esperarse el reconocimiento, indicó que "se lo merecía" su ex mujer, Kathryn Bigelow, por la película 'En Tierra Hostil'.
